Feline Friday: Of Paws and Patterned Paper

Here are two happy images for Feline Friday:

Lily's precious feet: Curling, kneading, running, leaping...But beware! These sweet, little white-gloved paws mask claws as sharp as razor blades.

I'm working on this small tin as a take-home project for customers at Memory Bound. The paper, alpha stickers, and blue embellishments are by Making Memories. Great stuff. It feels good to accomplish something tangible this week.

Such cutie paws!!!!!! And gorgeous tin! Now what do people carry in those things anyway? 'Cause I see them on a lot of blogs & in my friend's scrapbook store all the time. Is it like in addition to carrying a purse or instead?

From Janet: Thank you, Jill! You certainly could make one into a purse. I only like to make things that are useful. I have way too many useless things sitting around my house! :-) This tin will have 12 tabbed dividers and will hold photos and journaling blocks. I've also made tins to hold recipes and greeting cards. Will post photos of the inside stuff when I finish it!

Beautiful tin! How did the "sample collection" go? We have a greyhound and while he's easier to collect from I'm almost guaranteed to get wet too!

Oh, what a beautiful tin! I haven't seen that MM stuff yet in my backwoods stores...I'll have to keep an eye out for it. So summery!

Aww, cutsie paws! I can relate to their sharpness; it seems I am constantly trimming our cats front paws. One absolutely abhores it hissing and growling (I have to wrap her in a towel to get thru it unscathed). The other cat doesn't mind at all; she just sits there and not a peep comes out of her as I clip away.
