Over the weekend, we went to the local builders' association home show. I took along the camera to snap pics of a few things that caught my eye...color, design, and decorating ideas.
It should be noted that in one bedroom (see lower left corner of the collage), there were OWLS painted on the feature wall. Of course, that was my favorite bedroom. :-)

Click on the collage to enlarge it. Check out the dance studio, tile floor, reading nook, pool house, and the child's playroom under the stairs. I will never live in a house like this, but it's certainly fun to visit.

Oh that owl room is CUTE!!! And that room with the spots. And the one with the guitars...
Yeah, I'll never live anywhere like that either. But every now and then I do decorate *something*. :-)
That owl room is sooo pretty!! I can see why you like it, not my kind of house either but really pretty!
I love going on those sorts of tours and the home ideas show at the state fairgrounds. They always give me so many neat ideas. Of course, I never have the time, space or money for them all. LOL :D
OMG! And I know you know what I mean!
I have debated on going out - I have friends that have a home out there - Denton Homes (Scott and Steph). Their home won last year for the Builder's choice. I always like getting ideas - so fun. Thanks for sharing.
My favorite thing is the book shelves in the door and I, like you won't ever be living in houses like that unless I win the lottery.
I love going to the home show and looking at model homes etc. I'm with you that I will never live in a house like that but it sure is fun to see all the great ideas. Fun photo collage!
Oh what fun! I really like the color scheme on the wall with the line of circles - so pretty!
Oh my goodness, how clever is that arched door shelf?! I LOVE it!
But I wouldn't care if I lived in a 700 square foot apartment as long as I had a cat in residence :)
