Another blog layout and challenge

At the risk of freaking out some opossum-fearing people again :-), here's the layout I created using my opossum pictures from back in December. Another easy layout because I pulled the journaling directly from my blog entry.

Gosh, I even used some of my hoarded Ki stash on this layout. Not much of it, mind you. Still plenty left for future layouts.

Now someone told me last night that if you see an opossum in broad daylight, it's generally not a good thing since they are nocturnal creatures. This little guy, cute as he looked, may have been rabid. Spouse risked life and limb to get these shots, I guess.

I still think he's cute. The opossum, that is.

Today's 2Peas Blogging Challenge is this: What would you do if you knew you wouldn't fail?

I'm going to try not to over-analyze this question and, instead, respond with the first thing that popped into my mind.

If I knew I wouldn't fail, I'd write a book. Not a fiction book, not a children's book. Most likely it would be a compilation of essays and poems.

Someday I'd like to do that. A lot of stuff, including fear of failure, gets in the way of that becoming a reality.

Now that's a book I'd read!

Love the layout... what a cutie indeed!

(Okay, I really didn't mean for that to rhyme... there was no need!)

Ohh opossums are so cute, once I crossed paths with one close to him, scared the living cr*p out of me, but he was still very cute, you should go ahead and write a book I would buy it!

You can freak people out using possum?!?! I thought you had to go with squid for that!!!! KIDDING!!!!! He's SO CUTE!!!! I hope he's not rabid. :-( :-( :-( Though the reasoning makes sense...

Nice layout too! I like how you did the title. I always want to write a book too, but I already know I could fail since I tried it once or twice & abandoned it the moment it got difficult.

You guys are TOO kind! Thank you for your nice thoughts on the LO, the critter, and the book. Maybe one day I'll get brave and actually try to put a book together. Thank you for the encouragement! :-)

Opossums ARE cute, from afar:) IRL they tend to be a bit nasty and yes, there's the rapid issue. Curiously, I have a similar opposum picture from a few years ago, and it's on a SB page as well!

I'd buy your book...
