Pumpkin Picking 2007
Eighty pounds of pumpkins, strapped tightly into a wagon
Two scruffy cats, one soon to be a mama, weaving graceful figure-eights
A crisp fall breeze, a golden autumn sun
Brown leaves crunching underfoot
Warm apple pie, just out of the oven inside the orchard store
A girl, dancing on the edge of her future
Could time please stand still, just for a little while?

Awesome! Yeah, I wish autumn lasted longer too... those are great photos. Makes me wish I were there with you...
Great post :) I have learned this year that fall definitely is not long enough! I wanted the leaves to stay golden forever....
Are these your pumpkins? I so wish i had a pumpkin patch.

Great pictures and great post. I love this time of year. I wish it would last more than just a few weeks!
Another "great post" comment! I love this time of year!
Great photos! I also wish that time could stand still for just a moment. They grow up too fast.
Wonderful post! I don't think autumn even started in these parts yet. Sunday it was 80 out. I think it is just going to pass us by this year.
Love all your great autumn photos.
great pictures and stories of the season. I keep driving by all the beautiful trees saying I need to get a picture!
If only!!
Very nice pictures! I love summer best, but fall is a close second.

Thanks for all the nice comments, guys! Fall is definitely my favorite time of year. Sweater weather, I call it.
Lola -- These pumpkins are at a local orchard. They are really plump and nice this year!
Looking at these pictures sort of gets to me, you know...I have basically the same pumpkin picking pictures year after year. Looking at them really highlights for me how quickly the years with DD are passing and how we're in a really different "place" this year than last. Makes me a bit sentimental...*sniff, sniff*
Wow! Great pics and love your post!!
