Feline Friday: Spring grooming yields new cat!

Good grief! They say cats shed most in the spring, and I think this photo is proof positive of that.

From the looks of this kitten-shaped pile of fur, you'd think that we never brush our cats. That is far from the truth: We groom them regularly. Up until last week, though, they were wearing their heavy winter coats and were not shedding much. Now...look out! All of this fur came from Lily in one grooming session. It was
enough to make a new kitty!

This pile of fur can only mean one thing: Winter is over and summer is on the way!

That is so funny! I know our dog is going to start letting loose real soon with the shedding. Which usually lasts until winter!
I also love your wallpaper post!

We have a bagless vacuum and find extra cats every time we use it. ;) And that doesn't count all the fur on furniture, clothes, in my car.... LOL Yup, I understand. Happy Feline Friday! :D

That ain't nuthin' JP; I could get that much off Reuben (beagle) EVERY day! Hm, but I would have NEVER thought to arrange the hair in the shape of a dog...very creative, lol:)

Looks like the pile of fur we got the first time we used the Furminator on our Beldar! Check it out: http://web.mac.com/hsk1977/Site/My_Blog/Entries/2008/5/4_My_New_Friend%3A_The_Furminator.html

Too funny. I groomed my Spitz Nikita in the backyard one day and the neighbor came over after seeing the hair in the yard thinking my dog had been attacked by something and was dead.
