Coming Soon: Sharon's Informal Underwear Poll

Some alert readers may notice the partially-constructed poll at the right side of the screen. Blogger recently announced a new poll feature, and I promptly jumped on the bandwagon before reading that the feature isn't fully operational yet. Because Blogger is making it difficult to remove, I'll just leave the poll placeholder there for the time being, but you'll have to wait to record your vote.

Meanwhile, you may be wondering about the nature of this poll. My friend, Sharon, has been reading Life's Too Short to Fold Your Underwear. Sharon, who has evidently never folded her underwear, has become so empowered by this book that she has taken to asking random people (like her hairdresser and the waitress at Famous Dave's) whether or not they fold their underwear. Some people have told her more than she actually needs to know to conduct her informal poll. I find that in itself to be a curious thing.

Because I am the underwear-folding type (raise your hand if you're surprised), I suggested that we could broaden the scope of her survey by posting a poll on my blog.

Until Blogger fixes this feature, you may use the time to consider how you will respond to Sharon's Informal Underwear Poll. You may speculate about the results of the poll and what it all means in the grand scope of life.

But please: No wagering.

LOL I've been saying for years that Life is Too Short to Fold Underwear(I was a folder at one time) and then a book comes out with that title. I thought "aha" someone else thinks so and even wrote a book. I wonder how many other people do not fold their underwear. Findings so far, the younger crowd do not fold theirs; the majority of the older crowd does; Shell you are the first to say that your Mum irons them; and I recently found someone that does not wear any. TMI on that one.

Oh yeah, I've known a couple people that don't wear any. My mom always tells the story that her MIL, my grandmother, used to get angry at her for not ironing my dad's underwear!
