it's about cats. and cardstock. and a few other things in between.
Beautiful photo. I enjoy watching the butterflies visit our garden.
Very pretty! I have 2 of those flowers in my yard (at least I think they're the same things). They're just starting to bloom for me.
Thanks, Linda and Benita! I just happened to see the butterfly and was lucky she was still there after I ran inside to get the camera! Benita, I ended up splitting my liatris and now I have 3 clumps. I didn't stake them, though, and now they are flopping over. That's the only downside to them.
Awesome picture, Janet. I miss my Iowa butterfly garden. Do you plant parsley for the butterflies? They lay their eggs on it.
Thanks, Sharon! I miss YOU here in Iowa. :( I didn't know about parsley! I will have to try that. I love butterflies and plant a lot of purple flowers to attract them.
Very pretty! And that IS good luck that she (?) was still there!"I ended up splitting my liatris and now I have 3 clumps." I'm so glad I figured out you were answering Benita about flowers! I was afraid it was something scary and medical! I think I have that on the brain because I've been catching up on doctor's appointments all summer...
LOL Jill, that DOES sound pretty sketchy, now that you mention it!!!
