Bad influence

I left the lid off the plastic cat food container for just a minute. When I came back to the kitchen, this is what I observed:

Two heads poked into the container, woofing down morsels of food like there was no tomorrow.

Rest assured that our prim and proper Tinsel has NEVER done anything like this before.

Lily is obviously teaching her some new tricks.

You think they thought they had different food, our cat and dog acted that way. Maybe it's how we look at a buffet line, LOL!

Ohh priceless picture, you should feed those cats at least once every two days or so ;) (mine act like that too)

LOL My two once chewed a hole in a new bag of food I left sitting out. Since then, it's in a plastic container in a cabinet to keep it safe. ;)

How funny that animals act like you never feed them when they find unexpected food.

Too cute! I need one of those things. I always leave mine in the bag & then if the closet door gets left open on accident the cats just rip right into the bag regardless of whether there's food in their dish.

They are definitely NOT beagles (as if there was any question)...our dogs would have had the container knocked over and EVERY single piece consumed within 10 seconds, with time left over for fighting over the last couple pieces that rolled under the furniture!;)

And I second what Sarah C. said: if we don't put away a new bag of dog food right away, the beagles will chew a little hole in it and stand there eating piece by piece as they push their noses into the the bag so a piece pops out into their mouths.
