I love the fall. It's my very favorite season of the year. Over the weekend, I noticed that some of the our trees are starting to change colors. The days and evenings have been cooler. It feels like sweater-weather. I make a pot of coffee in the evening and light a good-smelling candle. If I'm lucky, I'll have a cat on my lap.
Last week, I spotted the new Daisy D's Gypsy Harvest line, just in time for the season. So with fall on the mind, today I made a little tag book for store display today and as a "take-home" type project for store customers.
I pulled a few photos and wrote a little verse for the season.
Signs of Autumn
Pumpkin patches, brimming with smooth orange gourds
Golden prairies, flowers bursting with seeds
ready to be gathered
Changing leaves, painting a rich and textured color palette
Black cats, a little tame, a little mysterious
Glowing jack-o-lanterns, transformed and magical,
greeting neighborhood ghosts and goblins.
Signs of autumn, each year reminding me of the
Signs of autumn, each year reminding me of the
never-ending cycle of life.
