My idea binders aren't anything elaborate at all. I have one binder for full articles (divided by subject) and a second binder for layout ideas, categorized by number of photos used.
I'm much more likely to actually find an idea I'm looking for in a binder, rather than search through pages of a multiple magazines. Plus, magazines take up a lot of space -- space that I do not have! Whenever I feel like doing something scrapbooking-related (but not actually scrapbooking!) working on my idea binders is a nice, productive activity.

What a great idea! I have stacks of old scrapbook mags I haven't looked through in years; and you are so right. Styles certainly have changed!!!
I'm impressed! I've planned to do this for along time and even attempted starting it a couple of times, but I never have gotten through everything. Maybe one day!
I like how you have your idea binder, I might have to steal the idea.
Thats a great project! I have a basket that I keep the mags in that I have postie notes sticking out. Someday I need to just do a bunch of clipping.
Great binder! I have a couple of sketch books that I use for jotting ideas down here and there: layouts, color combos, quotes, etc.
Stay warm!!
what a great idea! can you come do mine?
Great idea, I really love it. I just have a pile of magazines that I forget to look at again. :)
Your binders are awesome! So impressed that you use them. I tried doing that for a while and then realized I never opened them so I tossed them. *gasp* The only binders I've kept and use are the ones I made with my Autumn Leaves designing with calendars. Gotta confess, I was somewhat happy they quit making those calendars at I'm running of room to keep them! LOL
great idea, I've started a project like this..but only that..started. Thanks for the inspiration
Great idea, I do the same.
OMG...I actually saved the same Ireland page! :) I too have binders of my ideas, but right now I don't get any mags and just right-click save/as and keep my "binder" on my laptop:)
