This week, I've been working on cards for next quarter's classes at the store where I teach. I just finished up the cards for my next "Year of Cards" class, in which we'll make twelve seasonal and all-occasion cards. Here are three of my favorites.
For this particular class, I'm mainly using the MAMBI Sanctuary line, which includes papers with bold patterns and colors. I'm also using die-boards for many of the cards and envelopes. For the cards pictured here, I used our library card/pocket die, our gift tag die (with matching envelope), and our dragonfly die.
The Year of Cards classes are a great way to build up your inventory of cards so that you have a few on hand when needed.
Much better than scrambling at the last minute, right? I know I've never done that, have you? :-)

Great job on the cards. They are just wonderful. I love the Fathers Day one with the Dragonflies. Very nice.
Oh, no, never ever made a card minutes before I needed it. ;) LOL Fabulous cards. I love the library card one - too cute. May have to lift that idea. tfs!
I have always made my cards on time...never 5 minutes before the mail carrier is about to arrive at my mailbox. Love the overdue card, great idea.
Aww pretty cards, love the colors and papers, wish I had people to send cards too.
