I have to think it's some sort of chemical breakdown of the plastic. I have stored in cd cases, and other ways, and over time, they simply yellowed and became unusable.

For that reason, I'm sad to say, as much as I like some designs available these days, I won't ever buy another clear stamp. Red rubber only. I have mine on 8.5 x 11 sheets of plexiglass....all is well. :)Kristinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06962309468837539117noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24228744.post-68391977540328621322015-02-10T21:56:18.967-06:002015-02-10T21:56:18.967-06:00How disappointing! Though, as you said, the stamp quality actually may have been the problem all along! It sure seems like they should be safe storage for stamps if they are safe for CDs and DVDs. After I posted this I found a few more sets that had gotten all sticky and they were not directly on the CD plastic but were still in the package, so I'm thinking it is more an issue of stamp quality than anything! :)Janethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14230118372789434756noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24228744.post-23215820954499838022015-02-10T06:48:45.383-06:002015-02-10T06:48:45.383-06:00Oh no!
