One Cool Cat
Tinsel received these awesome sunglasses and matching personalized visor in the mail from my folks, vacationing in Arizona.
Although it took dd and I quite some time to outfit her, once dressed she seemed rather resigned to her new look. In fact, one could say she was ... sub - dude.

New domestic skills?
I was given a set of the new SEI stuff in order to make samples for the LSS where I teach. Being a huge SEI fan, this was right up my alley. Loved, loved, loved working with both Winnie's Walls and Paisley & Petals. But the very best part: the iron-ons! In the lower left corner of this layout, you can see the "So Very Happy" iron-on. I'm sure you'll find this hard to believe, but I did not actually sew across the top of the layout. These, too, are IRON-ONS!
The iron-ons apply quite easily, and I love the dimension they add. Their velvet texture reminds me of those books I had as a child (and still own, of course) with fuzzy animals. I'm not one to get overly excited about products other than cardstock, so this is big news for me! And a great use for my iron. Maybe it could count as a domestic skill?
Newsflash! Blog goes public!
Ok, maybe public is not the right word, since I may be the only one to read it. What was holding up the launch, you ask? I'll tell you....finding a great blog name. I really like this one, but it may change at some point in the future.
So what are my goals with this blog? Hmmm....
So what are my goals with this blog? Hmmm....
- To discuss various attributes of both cats and cardstock
- To write more, especially stuff that could be used for my scrapbooks
- To inspire myself and any wayward soul who might happen to pass this way
- To avoid political ramblings, if at all possible
- To learn how to add cool features to my blog, thus improving my technical skills
- To look really hip by having a blog!
...With perhaps more goals to be added as I progress!
